Ranzuki July 2009

001

I love Ranzuki. It is the greatest gal magazine of all time. Because I look young, and I am going to milk that until I turn 30 and all you younger gals force me out of it by posting pics of me on livejournal communities. Then I’ll print those for framing and hanging in the apartment and perhaps move on to onee-gal. But anyway, this issue was especially nice since I had gone through two magazines already this month that weren’t particularly appealing to me. But this one inspired creativity!

017

“I’m gonna knock you out for making me believe Ca Priccio was Japanese for Dr Pepper by reading your strange shirt!”

“Oh noes!”

021

“Don’t make me take off this weave!”

“AAAAHH!”

I should make comics.

022

Anyway, I really like the short sleeve hoodie. Mostly because I’m trying to justify buying one on a whim at work. But it is cute, right?

……right?

027

This is amazingly cute and I want to try it!!

031

And of course I always love seeing multiple ways to wear stuff. It makes me want to buy a skirt which may or may not have been the idea. Heh.

040

Do you remember those commercials for Volcano Tacos at Taco Bell?

049

Love this makeup. She is so fierce. But it involves lashes. Why God, why?

056

I love street snap more than the rest of the magazine. Mainly because I feel I can achieve at least this standard of well dressed. (but will never achieve spelling bee champ since it took me 5 times to spell achieve correctly. Argh, I did it again!)

069

T-shirt and sweatshorts? I AM SO GAL RIGHT NOW.

083

I lolled so hard at this. I’m not sure if it’s the good bananas and bad hamburgers, or the fact that the cursor is saying “crick!” Okay okay, I lied. It’s the cursor.

Crick. Hahahaha.

091

OH GOD BT. WHAT HAVE WE DONE.

The rest was ads, and since none of them involved pooping to lose weight, I got bored. I’m off to eat.

Hi there! Found your blog on Ricoche!
    I love the style that they have in Ranzuki. Do you have a subscription? I’m interested in getting one but can’t find any sites that offer Ranzuki…mostly just Egg, Ageha, and Popteen. ;__;

I’m also going to try to do gal til I’m 30. I’m 20 right now and people always think I’m 14, so why not?! :D

I don’t have a subscription, I just download scans from a livejournal community.
