Ageha September 2009

Someone has been playing with blingee again!

There were 18 pages of white, tea length dresses. If I had a use for an all white dress, that would be awesome. But for those of you that do, note that they are all really simple dresses without a lot of weight (meaning no petticoat or other full skirt). There were two that had tiers of ruffles, but those were both still really simple.

Having the biggest, roundest eyes possible is the goal here! Play with shapes a little here, they add a lot of liner below the bottom lash line in order to give the illusion of round eyes. If you don’t need that much to get round eyes, don’t do it!

I didn’t see a lot of dark outfits, and I’m wondering if that’s common for hime style.

I’m so glad they did a spread on hair buns. I’m too lazy to curl my hair at 4:00am, when I get up to go to work.

You can see here where some of the shadows applied are used to give the illusion of an eye fold. Just remember that you are going for a wide eyed, fresh look.

I love the hair portion, only because I have enough hair to do this stuff!

I want to do this hair!!!

Awww! <3

This is a cool twist on that idea. Honestly, I’d just make a bow from synthetic hair and pin it on.
Ok, that’s all I’ve got this time around. Comment and tell me what you liked or hated!

This blog isn't cute. I'm too old to be cute. I am however, gyaru, and I am opinionated. That, according to the standards of the internet, is enough to have a blog. I've been involved in western gyaru since '05, and I know everyone who is or was anyone in the western community. You wanna know secrets? I've got your secrets.

I don’t usually get Ageha, so I’m happy to see this. I didn’t realize how easy it is to make a bow from your own hair (or extensions). Thank you for posting!

Aww these are super cute!
And yeah, it’s hard to do all the curling styles when you work so many hours a day, from early to late hours. X_x Yay for the bun spread! Also, LOL on the synthetic bow – so true. XD
Thanks for sharing!
