More hot styles from SCawaii {August 09}

SCawaii is another mature magazine for older gyaru. The focus is much more targeted at being sexy as opposed to being cute. Most people don’t rate SCawaii high on the list of gal magazines to read, but I think it’s a good magazine to see some different stuff.

The hippie style again peeks out as the hot trend for August. Luckily it is very easy and very comfortable! Look at these light wash shorts and capris and plaid camp shirts for key pieces to grab.

Another comfortable fun piece is the maxi dress. I personally like it more with the belt.

Stripes, floral print, stirrup leggings (unfortunately), and rock style studs.

I honestly really want to try the harem pants. It looks like long white or stripe tanks seem to be the item to pair them with.

It’s always funny when people say they dress gal because it’s so different from Western fashion. They are copying celebrities! Study celebrities and you’ll be on top of the trends too!

If you want your black x white coordinate to look more sexy, don’t add another color and keep most of the outfit black.

Add a pop of color for a more funky look.

Or some print for something very trendy.

Buns are a lifesaver in August! Be sure it’s at the crown of your head and try to add some wispies or bangs for the cutest look.

There are lots of fun accessories to add to your updos too, but don’t go too overboard!

This blog isn't cute. I'm too old to be cute. I am however, gyaru, and I am opinionated. That, according to the standards of the internet, is enough to have a blog. I've been involved in western gyaru since '05, and I know everyone who is or was anyone in the western community. You wanna know secrets? I've got your secrets.
